I have worked as a brand, category and product manager for some of the largest companies in the country, the world even. Yet it is starting a family and becoming responsible for a fragile new bundle that has been the most intense “job” I have ever been faced with.

Any parent reading this will understand when I say that the daydream and the reality of parenthood are worlds apart! Nothing can prepare you for the sleepless nights, the feeling of pure protectiveness and love that takes over your entire being and the constant panic that something might go wrong; and something always goes wrong!

Since we welcomed our first child in 2010, we have dealt with pretty much every scenario possible; allergies, reflux, eczema and chronic nappy rash to name a few. Starting a family and creating a home is life-changing and challenging, but so unbelievably rewarding! Little Nest Co. was formed on the basis that this journey could be made so much easier with a little help, and honesty.

One of our key ingredients is that Little Nest Co. is not just about baby but also about you. The added bonus of little touches that make your house a home are simply that, a bonus.

You’re a parent, you survive on a few hours of sleep a night, your child suffers from eczema or is teething; but there are things that can make your environment so much nicer. For me, a beautiful scent as you enter a room, new pyjamas, or fresh linen on the bed is (almost) as comforting as a good nights sleep.
